Shiitake mushrooms naturally contain high dietary fiber, including ß-Glucan – a prebiotic fiber that feeds the good bacteria in the gut, helps digestive health, enhances immune function, and supports cholesterol regulation. Shiitake mushrooms are also a great source for vitamin D in multiple forms D2, D3, and D4. Vitamin D is essential for whole body function, especially immunity, mood, and sleep.*

Although we recommend avoiding all added sugar, coconut sugar is a healthier substitute for common table sugar creating a balanced flavor. The mushroom jerky only takes up 10% of daily added sugar intake.
